Ajarn Michael Parker
is a top level Muay Thai Instructor in the World Thai Boxing Association under Ajarn Surachai “Chai” Sirisute. Ajarn Parker has traveled the country learning Martial Arts disciplines as well as competed in the ring and on the mat. He understands the need for basic elements of fighting in real time and builds on the basic principles. His teaching style is matchless as his reputation supersedes him. He has been a long time Instructor in Muay Thai, (Jung Fan) JKD Concepts, Kali, Wu Wei Gung Fu, TKD, Regular Boxing and Submission Grappling.
The World Thai Boxing Association (WTBA), the oldest and largest Muay Thai organization in the World, was founded in 1968 by Ajarn Surachai “Chai” Sirisute. (Ajarn is Thai for head instructor.) Ajarn Chai came to the United States with a vision to spread Muay Thai to throughout the world, and he is the first-ever Thai boxing instructor to teach Americans this art and he has worked tirelessly for 40 plus years to that end.
